" I knew when I saw him."

That was Meaghans reply when I asked when the moment was she knew Terry was "the one" 

And she certainly has proved that that statement is very, very true! She packed her bags and moved to his town, leaving family and job behind. She's become a sister to me, and a daughter to my parents, a fiance to my brother, and we love her so, so much. 

The natural hominess these two have with each other was so relaxing for me as  a photographer. I didn't work too hard during this shoot, besides fighting mosquitoes;) We shot into the sunset and after the sun was down, and I just couldn't stop, I told them that since they were family I torture them longer than I would a regular client, which is what I usually end up doing to family. Sorry fam! 

I hope you guys love these pictures as much as I fell in love with them and the love and easiness of smiles, laughter, and kisses that these two lovebirds share. 

a knelsen morning {lifestyle shoot}

Shawna and I had been talking for months about doing a short little lifestyle shoot one morning. With six girls between the two of us, the plans often don't get anywhere other than plans. Hmmm....can you begin to imagine why that would be??? (insert sarcasm font)
Basically in order to make anything happen we have to pick a day and tell each other "yes. we are doing this. no turning back."
So you all should just know...moms of twins are basically freaks of nature, and Shawna is no exception. They spent the last few months of pregnancy and first few months of their baby girls lives in the hospital, 6 hours away from home.
Now that life has been somewhat back to normal for a while and the twins turned 1 in January, we thought it was the perfect timing for a little documentary shoot of her morning. Enjoy:)
